Tennis New Zealand is looking for an experienced and passionate Technology Products Manager to lead the delivery, optimisation and ongoing support of our national tennis technology platforms. This is a unique opportunity to shape how technology supports tennis clubs, coaches, regions and players across Aotearoa.

About the role

Reporting into the Technology and Digital function, you will be responsible for the implementation, management and continuous improvement of Tennis New Zealand’s technology products and applications. You will work closely with internal teams, software vendors and the wider tennis community to ensure our systems are effective, user‑friendly, and aligned with the Tennis in New Zealand strategy.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of Tennis NZ’s technology products, applications and CRM systems
  • Support and deliver the Tennis NZ technology product strategy and roadmap
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and suppliers
  • Analyse product performance and recommend enhancements, updates, or redesigns
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, product releases, and regular user feedback
  • Provide training and support to Tennis NZ staff and regional teams to build product capability
  • Support onboarding of clubs, coaches and stakeholders onto technology platforms
  • Track and report on progress, risks and milestones for internal reporting, the Board, and Sport NZ
  • Work collaboratively across design, technology and testing teams to ensure high‑quality delivery

About you

You are a proactive product professional who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, sport, and people. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities while building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in IT or digital product management across the full product lifecycle
  • Experience managing external vendors and technology partners
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies, including M365 and Dynamics
  • A degree in IT/Computing, Sport or Recreation Management, or equivalent industry experience
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team culture
  • Experience within a sporting organisation or National Sporting Organisation (advantageous)
  • Project management and/or Microsoft certifications (desirable)
