Recognition of Current Competence (RCC)

At Tennis New Zealand, we understand that tennis coaches with historical qualifications and international qualifications, not recognised by the ITF, have previously gained skills and knowledge through a range of work, study, life, and other experiences.
Tennis NZ is providing coaches the opportunity to refresh their coaching skills and obtain an internationally recognized qualification through Recognition of Current Competence (RCC).
This upgrade of qualifications will ensure these coaches are:
- Listed on the upcoming Professional Coach Register
- Trained to a satisfactory level in safeguarding, ethical obligations, and current coaching practices
- Capable of meeting the TNZ national coach selection criteria
