Another men's doubles final for Statham

Saturday, 13 May 2023

It is Finals time again for Rubin Statham!

He and his Australian partner Max Purcell beat Arjun Kadhe (IND) and JiSung Nam (KOR) 6-4, 4-6, 10-8 in their doubles semi-final at the Head Busan Open in South Korea.

However, it wasn't meant to be in the final as the pair bowed out due to a walkover.

What a year Rubin is having on the ATP Challenger Tour.

He started the year by winning a doubles title at the Open SIFA Nouvelle-Calédonie in Noumea, New Caledonia. Since then, he has also made two doubles finals (San Luis Open and Morelos Open), one semi-final (Mextenis León Open), and one quarter-final (Abierto GNP Seguros).
