Doubles draws released for Roland Garros

Michael Venus and his German partner Tim Puetz are the 7th seeds in the men’s doubles and have been drawn against Aussie James Duckworth and Belarussian Ilya Ivashka.
Venus and Puetz have reunited for the first time since the Monte Carlo Masters in April with the German having only just recovered from an ankle injured sustained in the principality.
Erin Routliffe is playing at Roland Garros for the first time (aside from in juniors) and teams up with Polish partner Alicja Rosolska. It’s a tough draw for the unseeded pair who meet 16th seeds, American Nicole Melichar-Martinez and Aussie Ellen Perez. Melichar-Martinez is in form having won the doubles title in Strasbourg last week with another Aussie Daria Saville.
