Kiranpal Pannu is the Eves Open men’s singles champion at the ITF US $15,000 tournament in Papamoa. The 6th seeded Kiwi has beaten Australian qualifier Derek Pham 4-6,6-2,6-4 in the men’s singles final in a match lasting 2 hours and 9 minutes. It's the first ITF singles title for Pannu.

Pannu will now attempt to win the ASB Classic wildcard playoff tournament in early January to try to earn a main draw wildcard into the ASB Classic. The top two ranked New Zealanders Ajeet Rai and Rubin Statham are both skipping the playoff to compete at ATP Challenger tournaments in Asia.

Kiwi players, Paige Hourigan and Erin Routliffe won the women's doubles title against 4th seeds Ashmitha Easwarmurthi and Yuka Hosoki.

Jack Loutit has his first ITF doubles title. The 17-year-old partnered with Japan’s Daisuke Sumizawa and completed a 6-4 7-5 win over Kiwi wildcards George Stoupe and Reece Falck.

Top seeded Canadian Katherine Sebov has beaten second seeded Czech Michaela Bayerlova 6-0 6-4 to win the women’s title at the US $25,000 tournament at the same venue.
