Sitak bows out in Marseille quarter finals

New Zealand doubles player Artem Sitak and French partner Edouard Roger-Vasselin have been narrowly beaten in the quarter finals of the ATP 250 tournament in Marseille in France.

Sitak and Roger-Vasselin have lost to Queenstown born Ben McLachlan who represents Japan and his South African partner Raven Klaasen 7-6 (3) 7-5.

There were no breaks of serve in the opening set and it was decided in a tie break which after going up a min break early, McLachlan and Klaasen closed out with ease.

It was a close affair again in the second set with Sitak the only player to be broken, at 5-5 enabling Klaasen to serve out the match.
