Three wins from three matches for Kiwi doubles trio in Europe

Michael Venus, Marcus Daniell and Artem Sitak have all had convincing wins at their respective tournaments in Europe.

World number 10 Michael Venus and his Australian partner John Peers are through to the double’s semi-finals at the ATP tournament in Antwerp. The second seeds have beaten Italian Simone Bolelli and Argentina's Maximo Gonzalez 6-3 6-4 in 1 hour 10 in their quarter final. Venus and Peers served superbly and only faced four break points in the match while they converted two of their nine chances to break.

They face the winner of the match between Belgian wildcards Michael Geerts and Yannick Mertens and alternates Spaniard Pablo Andujar and Dutchman Sander Arends for a place in the final.

Marcus Daniell and his Austrian partner Philipp Oswald have made a smooth transition from winning the ATP clay court tournament in Sardinia to playing on an indoor hard-court in Cologne.

They have beaten German wildcards Daniel Altmaier and Oscar Otte 6-4 6-1 in 52 minutes. They converted four of their eight break point chances.

Daniell and Oswald will face either top seeds, Poland’s Lukasz Kubot and Brazil’s Marcelo Melo or Israel’s Jonathan Erlich and Hugo Nys from Monaco for a place in the semis.

Artem Sitak and his Swedish partner Andre Goransson are safely through to the quarter finals at the ATP Challenger tournament in Istanbul after a 6-3 6-3 win over Portugal's Frederico Ferreira Silva and Belarussian Ilya Ivashka. They face Americans Robert Galloway and Nathaniel Lammons for a place in the semis.
