Walkover for Routliffe, Dabrowski in mixed doubles

Monday, 20 January 2025

Erin Routliffe and Michael Venus advanced to the mixed doubles quarterfinals at the Australian Open without having to step on the court.

Their scheduled opponents, Alexandra Panova and Lloyd Glasspool, withdrew from their match on Kia Arena just 30 minutes before it was set to begin. The walkover allowed Routliffe and Venus to progress automatically.

In the quarterfinals, the Kiwi pair will face Asia Muhammad of the United States and Andres Molteni from Argentina, as they look to continue their strong run in Melbourne.
